Also hi! I think I might start blogging here. I didn't keep up on LJ. And to be honest, when my marriage fell apart, I couldn't bring myself to read my old entries. I'm fine with most of them now. There are a couple I have to scroll past, but those aren't related to the relationship, but the family.

I'll get past that at some point.

So yeah. Add me. I miss the community I've really only had on LJ. I hope we can create a new, and stronger community here on DW. <3

I'm genuinely sorry.  My 20s were a very asshole-ish time for me online, and while I enjoyed my internet sleuthing and debate, I was sometimes needlessly mean, and I sincerely regret that.

I'm not asking for a hug party here or anything.

I just wanted to say that.

I'm never even on this website anymore, I just kind of fell into the ED rabbit hole and was reminded of some rather dark times.

I don't regret the majority of my time spent on the drama communities, especially because of the friends I gained through them.  But there were occasions I hurt people, and for that I really am sorry.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled LJ.

My friend diaphoni needs help! I'm C&Ping her post here. I know I've asked for help for myself recently, but I am completely putting that on the back burner. This little guy needs it more, and needs it now.

the infection in his leg is down but his foot is still swollen and huge and flat. There is bone sticking out of the side of the drainage hole and the xrays show that his foot is basically crushed.
It needs to be amputated.

I'm ok with that, he's 5 1/2 weeks old, he'll adjust to being a 3 legged kitty just fine.

They can do the surgery tomorrow, if we could pay for it.

We can't.

It's going to be 850.00

that's more than our rent & a half.

option 2 is to put him to sleep

or deposit him at the shelter and run, leaving the already low on funds, soon to be shut down shelter to deal with him, and although they are a no kill shelter, in his case, they'd probably put him down as opposed to fix it.

I feel like crying, there is no way we can scrape this kind of money up out of no-where.
I don't wanna lose my kitty.
